Cold streets and abandoned hopes float through the mind of a soilitary wanderer.
Skipping through opaque street lights, bouncing from curb to curb on, this, the night of nights.
Quick step one foot over the other kicking fogotten trash in his wake.
Arms float across his stary vision, dancing with the kicked-up garbage.
No one around but his audience of 10,000 lights
Lights from lambs, bulbs and stars
Just like a star he wants to be.
Through the cosmos he shall dance, forever falling
Mind set on one thing
This dance, he dances for himself
But another strays across the hazy alleyway
One of beauty beyond the stars
Hair of diamonds reflected in the moonlight
Eyes that outshine even his auidence
Dressed in the city herself
The dance goes on, only now joined they be
Intertwined as one they move
Tall towers of the city, smokey fog covers their tracks
But on they shall dance until the bright sun kisses the tips of the far off mountains
Then back to their lives, never to cross paths again
